Sites
A site is the name you have chosen to identify the area where a group of devices have been installed. You can then add a group of devices to a site.
1. Create a Site
- Go to the Ontoto Web Portal.
- Click on Sites in the menu bar.
- Click on Create Site.
- Enter name and description.
- Enable Delete Protected to prevent unintended deletions.
- Click on Create Site to create, or Create & Add Another to create another one.
2. Create a Device Group
- Go to the Ontoto Web Portal.
- Click on Sites in the menu bar.
- Click on View for the specific site from the list of sites.
- Click on Create Device Group.
- Enter name and description.
- Click on Create Device Group to create, or Create & Add Another to create another one.
2. Attach a Device to a Device Group
- After creating a device group or click on View for a specific device group from the list of device groups.
- Click on Attach Device.
- Click on Devices Field and enter the device name.
- Select the device.
- Click on Attach Device to attach, or Attach Another to attach another one.
3. Download a CSV file
- Go to the Ontoto Web Portal.
- Click on Site in the menu bar.
- Click on View for the specific site from the list of sites.
- If you have a Device Group with attached devices or Create a Device Group and Attach a Device to a Device Group.
- Click on CSV Generator for a particular device group from the list of device groups.
- Select the date range, timezone, format, and required channels.
- Click on Generate CSV File.
