Sites

A site is the name you have chosen to identify the area where a group of devices have been installed. You can then add a group of devices to a site.

1. Create a Site

  1. Go to the Ontoto Web Portal.
  2. Click on Sites in the menu bar.
  3. Click on Create Site.
  4. Enter name and description.
  5. Enable Delete Protected to prevent unintended deletions.
  6. Click on  Create Site to create, or Create & Add Another to create another one.

2. Create a Device Group

  1. Go to the Ontoto Web Portal.
  2. Click on Sites in the menu bar.
  3. Click on View for the specific site from the list of sites.
  4. Click on Create Device Group.
  5. Enter name and description.
  6. Click on  Create Device Group to create, or Create & Add Another to create another one.

2. Attach a Device to a Device Group

  1. After creating a device group or click on View for a specific device group from the list of device groups.
  2. Click on Attach Device.
  3. Click on Devices Field and enter the device name.
  4. Select the device.
  5. Click on Attach Device to attach, or Attach Another to attach another one.

3. Download a CSV file

  1. Go to the Ontoto Web Portal.
  2. Click on Site in the menu bar.
  3. Click on View for the specific site from the list of sites.
  4. If you have a Device Group with attached devices or Create a Device Group and Attach a Device to a Device Group.
  5. Click on CSV Generator for a particular device group from the list of device groups.
  6. Select the date range, timezone, format, and required channels.
  7. Click on Generate CSV File.
